We no longer live like we want to because you wont allow us to. You forced us away from our traditional way of life, and our beliefs and now we live and dress like you. I don’t think it was necessarily right to change our ways, but we have no say in the matter so my opinion doesn’t matter.
You have made us make so many changes in our lives but you never once made a change for us.

I don’t understand why you are doing this to us. Changing our way of life, taking over our villages and turning us all into slaves. Making us live under one roof and follow your rules. While your men sit around and have a grand time.

Put your self in our shoes Francisco. Would you like it if we walked into Lisbon and took control and changed the way you live?

Hello Francisco.
I don’t think it is fair that you are going to colonize our land. We have lived here for so many years. We have all worked so hard to make it the great place that it is. And you are going to take that all away from us?
Yes Zanzibar is a beautiful place and and I am sure that you could make a great colony here, but don’t make us leave our homes and lives behind. There are many other great places that you could colonzie.

You killed our Cheif and talk so lightly about it, as if it is no big deal. Then you take our people and turn them into slaves.
Making them work for you is bad enough but not letting them come home to there families when they are finished, thats is horrible! Please let them come home Francisco, please!

I agree with the Cheif! Leave Zanzibar and find land somewhere else! Don’t make us leave our homes, and start a new life somewhere else.

Go ahead and try to build your settlement! When the Cheif hears you outside he wont belong coming out there, and stopping you! Were willing to fight for our land!
